Acrylic Painting with Dan Gibson
Summer Classes: July 27th, August 24th, and September 28th, 2019.
Popular local artist Dan Gibson is offering another of his popular acrylic painting workshops at Rose Center. Students will complete an 11"x14" acrylic painting in each class.
The fee for each workshop is only $35 for Rose Center members and $40 for non-members and includes all materials. Each workshop is from 9 AM until Noon.
Pre-registration and payment is preferred. A maximum of eight students may register for each class to allow plenty of one-on-one attention.
Drawing with Wendy Leedy
Classes every Monday.
Local artist Wendy Leedy holds an ongoing drawing class at Rose Center every Monday 6 PM-8 PM. Students will learn technical aspects of drawing in this 6-session class.
The cost for all six sessions is $42. Pre-registration and payment required.

Art for Young Minds
Sarah Allnatt’s class is for 4 year-olds through 2nd grade. Allnatt’s activities are tailored to a younger age group and will encompass painting, drawing, paper art, sculpture, and many more techniques so children can explore multiple mediums. Her class will take place in the upstairs Children’s Studio. Classes start on September 3rd, and occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:30 bi-weekly. Fee is $45 per week, includes all materials and two sessions per week.

Ballroom Dance Classes
Ballroom Dance returns with new instructors, David and Rhonda McNish. Beginning March 12th, from 7 PM to 8 PM, couples and individuals are invited to learn the basic steps of the classic dances. Cost per person is $10. To register, contact the Rose Center business office between 9-5 PM, M-F. Or, simply show up for the class. Please bring exact change or checks to class. Credit cards must be used during normal business hours in the office. Make checks payable to Rose Center Council for the Arts.

Give this popular dance form a try - or learn some new steps in this fun class! Instructor Glenda Hardin teaches line dancing in Room 1 every Monday evening. Intermediate class is held at 7pm. Beginning class is at 6pm. New students are welcome any time.

Elizabeth Williams Dance Studio
The Elizabeth Williams School of Dance offers classes each Monday and Tuesday in Ballet, Jazz, Tumbling, and Hip-Hop.
The school was established in 1980 by Elizabeth and Ricky Williams. EWSD teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, tumbling, clogging, and tap for all ages and experience levels. EWSD has developed two paths for our dancers. First is for the dancer who wants to gain self-confidence, poise, concentration, focus, coordination, and rhythm, all of which will provide benefits throughout life. The second path is for the dancer who wants sound technical training and performing opportunities in order to become a professional dancer, teacher, or enter a related career. EWSD has three locations. Our central location in Sevierville, TN houses three studios and our Top of the Line Dancewear shop. Our other studios are located in Seymour and Morristown's Rose Center.

Rose Center plays host to awesome yoga instructors. Morning Yoga through the week is taught by Kim Brown. Learn the basics, strengthen your core, and be kind to your body.

Both beginning and continuing classes of Tai Chi are open for all fitness levels. Students will learn from noted instructors Jim Parker and Barbara Thompson about the basic 108 moves in Tai Chi to restore and maintain a sense of wellness.
