Famous Artists in A Box - $25

 

Travel through time with this art history adventure! Learn about the lives and the artistic journeys of some of history's most famous creators. Children and parents alike can enjoy a week of art activities, or can spread it out as much as they want. Activities are suited for elementary and middle school students.

Activities include:

2. Georges Seurat Inspired Pointillism painting

4. Paint Katsushikia Hokusai's Great Wave with your own story

Have a blast with a Jurassic adventure! In this Summer Camp in a Box series, children and parents alike will enjoy a week of dinosaur arts and crafts, or you can spread out the activities as much as you want. Activities are suited for elementary and middle school students.

4. Dinosaur Shadow Puppets

5. Dinosaur Decorated Clay Eggs

The Outdoors in a Box - $10

Get outside and create works of art inspired by nature in this outdoors themed Summer Camp in a Box! A week of fun activities are included for both children and parents to enjoy together. Activities are suited for elementary and middle school students.

Activities include:

1. Sun Prints

2. Leaf Printing

3. Leaf Dream Catcher

4. Flower and Nature Mandalas

5. Painted Rock Fairy Houses

  • The rest of the supplies you will have to go outside to find!

Rose Center is a non-profit organization and a Designated Agency of the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC). The Center is located at 442 W. Second North St. in Morristown, TN. Rose Center receives major financial support from TAC and manages the Arts Builds Communities granting program, a program funded by the Tennessee General Assembly, for the
seven-county Lakeway area.
