CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THE 13TH ANNUAL

Rose Center BRAVO! Awards

Deadline: April 10th, 2026 at 5 p.m.

Categories include both Visual and Performing Arts

Open to students in grades 11-12 who have achieved excellence in the field of Fine Art in public,

private, or home schools, and are residents of Hamblen, Jefferson, Cocke, Claiborne, Grainger,

or Hancock Counties

This program will culminate in a celebratory banquet at Rose Center on Thursday, May 7th, at

6:15 p.m. Finalists will be invited to display and/or perform their work at the event. The winners,

selected by a panel of judges from the Rose Center Artists’ Advisory Council, will be announced

that evening. The winnings will consist of cash awards in each category:

1st Place Award —$500, 2nd Place Award—$250, and 3rd Place Award—$100

(EVENTENY ACCOUNT MUST BE MADE TO SUBMIT APPLICATION)

ALL APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

FROM A PERSON WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE APPLICANT’S ABILITY IN THE

CHOSEN ARTS DISCIPLINE.

VISUAL ARTS:  All media will be considered and will be judged on originality, exploration of media, and craftmanship. Submit 2 examples of art online, along with title, medium, and dimensions. Finalists will be notified and will be asked to submit one piece of original art for final judging.

PERFORMANCE ART:  (Theatre, drama, music (instrumental & vocal), dance, and spoken

word) will be judged on originality, presentation, and technique. Submit two (2) recordings not

to exceed 3 minutes each to education@rosecenter.org. Finalists will be notified and will be

asked to perform at the awards banquet.
