December 3 & 4 (times still in planning stage) - Christmas Open House & Crafts Bridgette Williams, Bob Spirko, Beccy Hamm, Cindy Moses and I are the committee for this. There will be crafters in the classrooms both nights which Beccy Hamm is responsible for. We are also planning entertainment for Friday night and children's choirs on Saturday. We are attempting to make this a fund raiser this year and possibly for future Open Houses. A name change of this event is forthcoming. We are opening up the Community Room to guild members who would like to sell a craft or other sellables. There would be a charge of 10% of your earnings for the use of this room for the event for both Friday and Saturday. We are planning a Gingerbread House Bake Sell in the Hall Noe Gallery in the alcove. Workshops are being planned for this event to bake. Bridgette Williams has come back from a summer trip to Germany with a cute idea of a heart shape necklace the children could wear around their neck, made from gingerbread. This is an item we are planning on selling. *****If you are interested in working with the children's events for Saturday, December 4 please let me know. We want to make the Children's Touch Museum an activities center for the children to come and make decorated gingerbread cookies, ornaments, etc. for this fundraising event. Please write or call and let me know if you are interested in helping with the children's events. We are also wanting to give out samples of food items on Friday night of food served. This will not be the typical hand out food event. People will sample food items and then buy a quanity if they want. A punch beverage will be served at this event, free. Please keep an open mind about this event. We want to assist Rose Center but we need funds to do so. Let me hear your comments. Sorry for being so lengthy but just wanted all of you to know of what we are planning. Let me hear your comments and if you are interested in a booth for the Christmas Open House and Crafts. Talk to me!!!!!!!!!! Vicky
