Rose Center dance instructor Tammy Plasencia, of Diamond Dance Studio, is offering a variety of dance camps for children this summer. Each camp will allow students to experience a variety of dance styles allowing students to sample new forms of dance. All camps are open to any level of experience including beginners. No special shoes are required for these camps. Students should wear leotards and knit shorts. A full schedule of classes for the school year will be offered beginning in August. 

Junior Dance Camp for ages 10-13 will be offered July 25-29, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Performance Dance Camp is for those students interested in performing with Diamond Dance Studio at various area events. Performance Camp is for ages 6-13 and will meet July 11-15 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Petite Dance Camp for ages 6 – 9 will be held July 18-22 from 9:30 to 1:30 each day. The fee for each dance camp is $75.

Tammy is also offering classes for younger children on Tuesdays & Thursdays through July 28 (no classes the week of July 4). Pre-School Dance for ages 3 & 4 will meet from 1:30 to 2:30 PM and Kinder Dance for ages 4 & 5 will meet from 2:30 to 3:30 PM. The fee for six weeks, 12 classes, is $100. You may also register for 3 weeks, 6 classes, for $60.
