Mission

Rose Center Council for the Arts will provide pathways to communication an coordination to increase cultural awareness, broaden opportunities for arts education, and promote and develop cultural activities for the community.

Goals

Develop partnership with and among local arts agencies and the community
Cultivate awareness of arts and culture
Provide and promote arts education
Attract new artists to the community

Strategies

Create centralized website for promoting member arts events
Develop centralized calendar of arts events
Create strategic plan for arts in Hamblen County
Develop events and partnerships among arts organizations
Investigate other arts councils to gain ideas on policies and procedures
Partner with municipal and other local government agencies, and individuals and organizations in creating art beautification and improvement ideas
Serve as a resource
Create scholarships for artists and students
Expand opportunities for artists to locate and work together
Create a marketing plan
Join appropriate state, regional and national arts advocacy organizations
