Lunch With The Arts
Location: Prater Hall, Rose Center
A favorite wintertime event in Morristown is Rose Center’s Lunch with the Arts. Now in its third year, the occasion brings together a winning combination of food, art and entertainment. The meal will be served in Prater Hall, January 29 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Your choice of three hot soups, plus salad, bread, beverage and your choice of dessert will be offered. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in advance or at the door. Orders may be faxed or phoned in, and to-go lunches are available.
Your meal will be accompanied by a variety of music and dance, including a return performance by Craig Carroll, who teaches classical guitar at Rose Center.
A dozen members of Morristown Art Association and other local and regional artists
will display their work around Prater Hall, and will be demonstrating during the lunch.
Table centerpieces are sponsored by arts based businesses, such as florists, gift shops, and caterers. Bob Spirko, member of both the Morristown Art Association and the Rose Service Guild, and proprietor of Aesthetic Considerations, is coordinating this aspect of the event. He is also one of the table sponsors and will again be one of the demonstrating artists.
Members of the Rose Service Guild organize the event and members of Rose Center’s Board of Directors lend their support by bringing food and serving the meal. Proceeds help support Rose Center’s educational and cultural programs.
