THE ART OF MAKING ALTERED BOOKS
A new class on how to make Altered Books is being offered at Rose Center. Get started on this fun art form where anything goes and anyone can do it. Deena Morley, West High art teacher,HIgHH is the instructor. The class will meet on July 23 from 10AM-1 PM. Choose a theme and begin to create a piece of art using a discarded library book. This introductory class will open up new possibilities for the new or seasoned artist. The class fee is only $20. All materials will be furnished, but you are welcome to bring pictures, magazines, gel pens, etc. Be sure to bring your creativity and an open mind. Kids 12 and under must attend with an adult.
